Canada-based photographer Matt Molloy creates stunning sky images by stacking hundreds of photos to create one image. In essence, they are multiple exposures overlapped.
“Sunsets seem to work well, as the lighting constantly gets darker. A mid day timelapse can get messy, but they can be fun too,” he says. Molloy likes to experiment and he never knows what he is going to get. The gorgeous photos have a painterly effect, as if Molloy used a paintbrush and smeared the sky in beautiful colors… Hauntingly beautiful !
